The day after Serena's birthday party has come. Serena woke up early and realized that she was in love. She went downstairs to write a long letter to the person who she was in love with. She placed the letter in the person's car and hoped he felt the same way she did. Meanwhile Blair and Nate head off on a road trip where they were going on Nate's sailboat. On a quick pit stop at the gas station Nate went to get some supplies, meanwhile Blair was left alone in the car where she opened the glove department only to find the letter from Serena to Nate. Blair read the letter which revealed that Serena was also in love with Nate. Blair couldn't believe that her best friend would do that to her. Blair ripped up the letter declaring her friendship with Serena was over and that they were going to go their separate ways.
