Dan's life is about to get a little bit more fascinating with the start of his new book club. Dan's worries about the lack of people attending his club turns out to be unnecessary. Yet, he is still nervous so Greg gives him a drink to help calm him down. In the Hamptons, Blair and Serena are attending a party thrown by their boss. The party is pretty lame so they decide to go over to Nate's house. Nate likes the idea of spending time with Blair and is hoping to get back together with her. With Vanessa her job was getting easier as she is getting adjusted to the twin's daily routine. Vanessa is keeping her mind off Dan by working but secretly she still has feelings for him.
